ARE YOU MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR 30 HOURS GOVERNMENT FUNDED CHILDCARE?

At Rooftops Nursery Schools in Richmond and Barnard Castle we have been delivering this offer successfully to all of our eligible children helping families manage better financially, improve their work life balance, increase their working hours if they wish to and reduce the burden on grandparents who are much more heavily involved in providing childcare than ever.

Rooftops Nurseries offer high quality childcare with a one adult to eight children ratio, giving personalised and individual care building close relationships with key workers. They are Ofsted regulated Good and have five star food hygiene. With highly qualified staff your child couldn’t be in better care.

Hannah Hurley, owner of Rooftops Montessori Nursery School in Richmond and Rooftops Nursery School, Barnard Castle commented “We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for education tailoring our activities to the interests, needs and development of the individual child. Following the Montessori approach we offer a bespoke learning experience encouraging independent and free flow learning”.

Hannah went on to say, “In Barnard Castle we have launched Forest School sessions, one of the very few nurseries in the area encouraging children’s independent learning through outdoor learning, access to the natural world and developing skills for life. We intend to provide Forest School for all our children from babies to pre school children over the next year, with our children spending more time looking at nature, feeling the elements, and just getting dirty and wet outdoors. This leads to fulfilled, happy children who are more connected to the world around them, I know from growing up in Cornwall with a valley as a playground I will never forget that connection I have with nature and the outdoors”.

With outdoor classrooms, self service lunches, experimental play and free flow pre school children at Rooftops Nurseries are encouraged to be independent learners. Providing a home from home environment for your child from their first day; they quickly adapt and join in the fun with their little friends. Working closely with parents, on line journals provide real time information on their child’s day and instant messages to keep them up to date with what we are doing.

Both Rooftops Nurseries offer full day care 7.30am-6pm five days a week 51 weeks per year. A huge benefit for working parents. They support childcare voucher schemes, tax free childcare, saving families another £2000 per year and the Governments 30 hour funded places.

If you are not taking advantage of the full 30 hours funded childcare places or are looking to return to work, Rooftops Nurseries can help make that transition easier and currently have places available.

Rooftops welcome parents and children to visit their nurseries to see for themselves how the children thrive. Call Debbie, Richmond Nursery Manager on 0748 823667 or Hannah, Barnard Castle Nursery Manager on 01833 690620 to book a visit.
