After growing his hair long for 13 years, Luke Henderson, 21, who works at Rooftops Montessori Nursery in Richmond, North Yorkshire, braved the clippers and had his locks cut off to raise over £500 for the Neuro Foundation, an organisation that supports people with neurofibromatosis. His long hair was first platted before being snipped off and sent to The Princess Trust where the hair will be used to make wigs for children who have lost theirs.
