Butterfly room (Toddlers: 2-3)

During this very exciting stage, your child is becoming increasingly aware of their surroundings and the impact they can have on it. While your child is in this room, we help develop the routines that will promote independence and set them up for life. For example, we will work closely with you to identify when there are signs your child is ready to start potty training. We also encourage children to serve their own lunch and tidy up.

This is the stage your child’s personality and preferences start come into their own and we work with them to help them decide what they would like to explore and learn. There is plenty on offer to support this including painting, drawing, sticking, sand and water play, as well as access to the garden where they can play with the outdoor kitchen, ride on the bikes and trikes, feed our pet or do some gardening.

The staff looking after your child in this room are: Room Leader Kim (Level 3 Childcare qualified), Leanne (Level 3 Childcare qualified) and Jackie, who has over 20 years experience in childcare.
