With a focus on lower-income families, existing data shows that awareness of the 30 hours offer is lower among lower-income families. To help this the Department of Education have developed case studies on YouTube showing how families can benefit as well as advice on how to apply.  Click the links below to see how your family could benefit!!!

• A suite of case studies of six families across England sharing the positive impacts of 30 hours funded childcare on their household (e.g. making childcare more affordable, enabling parents to go back to work and additional support for parents of children with special educational needs).
• A “how-to” animation to support families applying for 30 hours free childcare and Tax-Free Childcare online

Rooftops Nursery School based in Barnard Castle have extended their childcare provision to include a forest school providing outdoor learning activities for children up to 8 years old. Rooftops already offers full day nursery childcare up to 5 years old, Monday to Friday 7.30am – 6pm year round.

Working 16 ¼ hours per week, 11am – 2.15pm Monday to Friday you will be required to collect hot meals from the local school so a car & clean licence is essential, mileage costs are covered, serve lunches for our children, basic food hygiene certificate is desirable (training can be given) & cover staff lunches in the rooms caring for our children as a Level 3 practitioner with the ability to be flexible working within our fantastic team.
